About the association

A common platform for a changing trade.

Established in 2001, NECTA is a charitable, apolitical and non-profit association representing IT dealers across North East India.

2001the association's confirmed year of establishment.

Why we exist

Independent businesses. Shared interests. One credible voice.

NECTA was formed to strengthen collaboration across the different layers of the IT channel and protect the interests of its stakeholders.

The association serves as a liaison between the trading community and government, offering input on the region's technology needs and advocating for better access and infrastructure.

Its published mission reaches beyond commerce: to help make current technology accessible across the North East and improve quality of life through wider adoption.

What we do

Four commitments guide the association.

01

Representation

Bring shared trade concerns to OEMs, distributors, institutions and industry forums.

02

Member development

Create practical opportunities for peer learning, capability building and responsible growth.

03

Useful connections

Help businesses find trusted peers, partners and verified service information faster.

04

Community contribution

Coordinate service, repair, donation and learning initiatives where technology can help.

Our history

Twenty-five years deserve more than a forgotten archive.

NECTA’s institutional record stretches across changing committees, market cycles and generations of technology. The rebuild preserves that record while clearly separating current authority from past office bearers.

Legacy material covering events, community work and executive terms is being transcribed and reconciled rather than discarded.
