NORTH EAST COMPUTER TRADERS' ASSOCIATION (NECTA)
The NORTH EAST COMPUTER TRADERS’ ASSOCIATION, popularly referred to as NECTA, was established in 2001 as an esteemed organisation representing IT dealers in the North East computer trading sector. Its primary objective is to foster collaboration among various tiers of the IT channel and safeguard the interests of all stakeholders by facilitating communication between different layers within the channel.
NECTA operates as a charitable, apolitical, and non-profit entity, dedicated to advancing the growth and development of information technology in the North East. The organisation strives to make cutting-edge technology accessible to every corner of the region.
Additionally, the association aims to serve as a liaison between the trading community and the government. It provides valuable input to the government regarding the industry’s needs, with a focus on bringing technology to the furthest reaches of the region. This initiative ultimately aims to enhance the quality of life for the people in the North East by upgrading their access to the latest technology.
